Greetings!

What a wonderful week ahead we have at RAE, there's plenty of small areas where you can make a big impact!

This week, we’re looking forward to our 5th graders’ final Hands-On Science labs—thank you to the parents helping make this milestone memorable; see below for spots still open!

We’re also preparing to honor our heroes at Tuesday’s Veterans Day Reception and Wall of Honor display; thank you to all who have volunteered and RSVP’d.

Wednesday, join us for Spirit Day at C’Tea where 20% of sales support your RAE PTA; and Friday brings Healthy Lunch Duty, a fun way to promote healthy habits.

As we head into the season of gratitude, our “Give Thanks—House Style” food drive partnering with our Sister School is underway. Keep sending in those cans!

Don’t forget to submit 5th grade baby photos and December Birthday Book Club orders by Nov. 21.

Veterans Day Volunteers Needed

Help us make our RAE Veterans and their families feel loved at our Veteran's Day Reception on Tuesday, November 11th at 7:20am.

We’re looking for volunteers to:
✨ Help set up on Friday afternoon
☕ Serve at the reception that morning
🧹 Clean up afterward

Healthy Lunch Duty: Reward Kids for Eating Healthy

This Friday! Sign up to help promote healthy eating by handing out stickers to kids who are eating their fruits & veggies. Your support makes lunch fun & encourages well-being!

This Thanksgiving season, we’re teaming up with our Sister School, Cimarron Elementary, to help families in need and turning it into a friendly House competition! 🙌

YEARBOOK

Attention 5th Grade Parents! Its time to submit your child's baby pictures for the RAE 2025-2026 yearbook!

Here are the guidelines:

1. Send us one baby picture of your 5th grade student

2. Provide student's first and last name

3. Select their homeroom teacher's name

4. Deadline to submit is Friday, November 21, 2025 - (over Thanksgiving Break)

Birthday Book Club

Order cutoff date for December birthdays is November 21st.

Celebrate your child's birthday and donate a book to the RAE library in your child's honor!

We will celebrate summer birthdays as half birthdays: June birthdays will be celebrated in December, July birthdays in January, and August birthdays in February.
