Ready to build simple circuits with your kids? These circuit boards are made for young students, and each board comes with simple easy to follow instructions booklet to show how to build each circuit. Lights and sounds of these circuits are sure to spark the love of STEM in kids. Your 2nd-grade lab takes place Wednesday, January 28th

The next rotation of Special Buddies will kick off on January 27th with our breakfast, where 4th graders are thoughtfully paired with a Special Education buddy. This program is designed to promote friendship, inclusivity, and meaningful connections across our school community. 

As part of their role, 4th grade buddies are asked to visit their buddy at least once a week in their classroom before school begins. 

If your 4th grader is interested and has not yet filled out an application, please do so on the PTA website by January 12th!

The next All Pro Dad Meeting will be on January 16th at 7:00am.

RAE dads join your StingRAEs before school for breakfast and a 45-minute program where we share important parenting information.

Please RSVP to attend. This will help us plan for breakfast and to make sure there is enough space for everyone. Thank you for your cooperation!

We are looking for dads who’d like to join RAE Watch. Volunteering is a great way to connect, help our school, and make lasting memories with our kids. Your time and presence makes a big difference for our kids. Come and be part of the fun! 

Mark your calendars for a Parent's Night Out! 🎮  Drop off the kids for Gaming Night on January 30th from 6–8 PM and enjoy a couple of hours to yourself. This is an event for RAE students. 

The cost is only $30 per child.

 All proceeds go to RAE PTA. 

The kids are guaranteed a fun-filled evening of games and laughter with friends! 

5th Grade Parents, BDJH PTA is selling yard signs and is offering them to the upcoming middle schoolers. If you would like to get one for your child, when you fill out the purchase form, under "Advisory Teacher" just put "Roosevelt Alexander Elementary".  

This year's sign is made from PVC so they'll be a little more durable against the weather. A metal stake is included with the purchase of a sign!

Do you know someone (parent, staff, community member) who goes above and beyond for our school?  Now is your chance to recognize their dedication!  We invite you to submit a nomination for the Texas PTA Life Member Award, a special honor that celebrates outstanding service and commitment to the mission of Texas PTA. The deadline to submit a nomination is January 30th. 

Did you know that KISD has a Mentor Program? Well they do and it has been going on for 30 years!!! Want to learn more?  Partners in Education is hosting an information session and they would love for you to join.
