Greetings RAE Families,

I hope this note finds you enjoying the long weekend! If you happen to have an extra minute, please consider nominating a special RAE staff member or volunteer for the Texas PTA Life Member Award. It’s a meaningful (and very quick!) way to recognize those who go above and beyond for our school community—thank you for helping us celebrate them.

Although January is a short month, it’s an important one. We’re kicking off our spring PTA events while also beginning the process of identifying and nominating new PTA Board volunteers for the upcoming school year. Your involvement now helps set the stage for a strong and successful year ahead.

Would you like to make a child smile?

We promote healthy eating habits by handing out stickers to kids who eat their fruits or vegetables during lunch. Your participation makes lunch fun for the kids & encourages healthy food choices.

HANDS ON SCIENCE

Calling all Kindergarten parents. We’re looking for volunteers for our science lab!

The lab is on Wednesday, January 21st. Volunteer to help our kindergarteners learn how simple circuit boards work.

SPIRIT NIGHT

RAE Spirit Night at iCode on January 30th

Mark your calendars for a Parent's Night Out! 🎮 Drop off the kids for Gaming Night on January 30th from 6–8 PM and enjoy a couple of hours to yourself. This is an event for RAE students.

The cost is only $30 per child.

All proceeds go to RAE PTA.

The kids are guaranteed a fun-filled evening of games and laughter with friends!

Volunteer at the Book Fair!

This year's Literati Book Fair theme is "Treasured Tales: Seek Stories on the Seven Seas!" We are looking for volunteers to set up the displays, decorate, help students shop and check out, and tear down on the last day.
